FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
*New young adult novel intertwines modern love story with classic religious themes*
MILWAUKEE – D. Perdue Henderson’s “Hayden Heyer and the Twin Guardians” (ISBN-13: 978-0985895310), is a delightful tale about acceptance and love, while teaching about morality and God. The main character, 16-year-old Hayden Heyer (pronounced higher) lives in a world where she feels invisible and insignificant, finding it difficult to fit in with her peers. On the first day of school, she meets and falls in love with the Sparks twins, Joe and James. Only to discover later they were sent by God to inform her of her destiny: to work for God and become immortal.
The novel takes a close look at the decisions Hayden is forced to make. Will she give up the life she knows and follow the plan God created for her or, remain mortal? Will she choose Joe or James in the end and why?
In the first entry of the “Hayden Heyer” series, Henderson draws from religious and fantasy themes to create a unique young adult novel. The message of the series is to bring awareness to God and the Christian faith, while dealing with the evil that exists in today’s society, and the problems young adults cope with on a daily basis.
“I was inspired to write this book for the youth of today. I want to help them understand what is right and what is wrong, as well as know the importance of glorifying God,” Henderson says. The series gives basic information on who God is and what he expects. It also answers questions some teens have about relationships. “Hayden Heyer” aims to be positive and constructive, while putting the messages in a context that will keep the reader entertained and interested.
“Hayden Heyer and the Twin Guardians” is available for sale at Amazon.com, eBooks, and other channels.
